About

Joni Scott grew up in Detroit, watching her mother rise early every day to read the Bible and pray. Having experienced the powerful effects of those prayers, Joni now has a desire to teach others to find the secret Place with God, hear from Him, and gain insight and strategy to storm Heaven’s gates with prayer and Hells gates with divine weaponry!

As a new believer, she prayed “God, if you grant me any ministries, make it first prayer, and second writing.” At first, it seemed God had her doing anything but writing and prayer. She taught children, teens, and women, the word of God. She also helped plant a church in the thick woods of the North, preparing bulletins and leading worship.

Yet, behind the scenes, she also developed her prayer life as she walked the streets and fields in her small city. She began her writing career composing a fun and engaging column for the local paper. It was while homeschooling her brood of five children, Joni taught American History.  Soon her heart connected with the sense that God still had a great destiny for the United States of America. Standing almost daily on the courthouse steps of her country courthouse she cried out in her heart for the Nation. That cry continues and grows more necessary by the day as America is about to enter a time of tumult.

Joni Scott draws from her personal time in the Secret Place of the Most High to share what God is saying to the church in these last days. She has her ear to the ground regarding other prophetic voices and current events. Her desire is to share what God is saying, but more importantly, to teach others to find the secret Place with God and hear from Him in order to gain insight and strategy to storm Heavens gates with prayer and Hells gates with divine power!

Joni Scott lives near the majestic and rustic shores of Lake Superior with her husband Charlie, whom she regularly beats at strategy games. Ok, he does win some. She also has a very full quiver of children and grandchildren. Joni loves introducing the young ones to her own passions: Horses, games, writing and God!
